Cookie Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Marque Natural Stones ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website marque.tr (the "Website"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how and why we use them, the legal bases for processing, and how you can manage your preferences.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice (KVKK). The Privacy Policy describes in more detail processing related to the Website, including analytics and infrastructure providers (such as Google Analytics and Cloudflare where used), first-party server statistics, and how these interact with cookie preferences.
Legal Basis for Using Cookies
We process personal data collected through cookies in accordance with:
- The EU ePrivacy Directive
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- The Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK)
Under GDPR and KVKK, the legal bases for processing via cookies are:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Processed based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the secure and proper operation of the Website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5/2(f)).
Functional, Analytics, and Marketing Cookies
Processed only upon obtaining your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5/1).
Non-essential cookies are disabled by default and activated only after consent through our cookie banner.
Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation, security, and accessibility of the Website. They are used to:
- Maintain session integrity
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
- Store cookie consent preferences
- Enable basic website functionality
Functional Cookies
Remember your preferences and settings, such as:
- Light/Dark theme selection
- Language preferences
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors use our Website. These cookies may collect:
- IP address (anonymised or shortened where technically possible)
- Device and browser information
- Pages visited
- Time spent on pages
Analytics cookies are enabled only with your consent.
When our cookie consent banner is enabled, we use Google Consent Mode so advertising and analytics storage for Google tags is not used until you accept analytics cookies; tags may load in a “denied by default” state until you choose “accept all” or equivalent. When the banner is disabled in site settings, measurement may run without that consent step. In administration we configure a GA4 measurement ID (typically G-…); this is not the same as a Google Tag Manager container ID (GTM-…).
Marketing Cookies (If Used)
May be used to measure campaign effectiveness or provide relevant advertisements. We do not use marketing cookies unless explicit consent is obtained.
Detailed Cookie Inventory
The table below lists the cookies currently in use on marque.tr:
| Cookie Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookieConsent | marque.tr | Strictly Necessary | Stores user cookie preferences | 12 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes users and collects statistical data | Up to 13 months |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes users | 24 hours |
| _gat | Google Analytics | Analytics | Controls request rate | 1 minute |
Other measurement and infrastructure: When the Website is delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare Web Analytics (Insights) may load a lightweight beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com to collect aggregated traffic and performance metrics. This is separate from the Google Analytics cookies above and is controlled at the CDN / hosting layer. We may load typography via Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com); your browser connects to those domains when stylesheets load. We also maintain first-party server-side statistics (for example aggregated visit counts) that do not rely on the analytics cookies in this table. Certain pages may send first-party, pseudonymous timing data using the browser sendBeacon API to our own endpoint to understand engagement on product content. For the legal distinction between browser cookie consent and server-side statistics, see our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Cookies & International Transfers
We use third-party services such as Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. Cloudflare may process technical and connection data as a CDN, reverse proxy, or security provider when you access the Website through Cloudflare’s network (including optional Web Analytics / Insights). Please refer to each provider’s documentation and privacy notices.
Google Analytics may act as an independent data controller for certain processing activities. Data collected through analytics cookies may be processed on servers located outside Turkey and the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
- Additional technical and organisational safeguards
- Explicit consent where required under KVKK
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You may:
- Accept all cookies
- Reject non‑essential cookies
- Customize your preferences
You can modify or withdraw your consent at any time when our cookie preference banner is shown, via the Cookie Policy link in the website footer, or through your browser settings.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality.
Data Retention
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain until their expiration date or until manually deleted.
- Analytics data retention is configured to a maximum of 13 months within Google Analytics settings.

Under GDPR and KVKK, you have the right to:
