What is your selection process for in-stock natural stone blocks?

We source our blocks directly from selected quarries and hold them to strict criteria in terms of color homogeneity, vein structure and crack condition. Each block is visually inspected in the yard, measured, photographed and documented with volume and weight data before being added to our in-stock block portfolio.

How do you evaluate crack status and structural soundness of blocks?

Crack status is assessed based on on-site inspection of the block faces and internal structure. We differentiate between no cracks, minor hairline cracks and more significant open cracks. For each block we indicate crack status, homogeneity and suitability for cutting so that you can plan the optimal slab or tile recovery at the factory.

Can you advise on the best cutting strategy for a specific block?

Yes. For key projects we can review the block data together with your factory and suggest the most efficient cutting strategy: standard slab thicknesses, special strip-cut formats or mixed production. By combining volume, vein direction and crack status we can estimate potential net yield and waste percentages.

What information do you provide with each block in stock?

Each in-stock block is listed with stone name, block number, exact dimensions, net volume in m³, estimated weight in tons, location, crack status and veining structure. Photo documentation and, where available, additional detail images are provided so that architects and fabricators can evaluate the block remotely and with confidence.

How do you handle reservation, loading and logistics for blocks?

Once a block or a selection of blocks is reserved, we mark the blocks as reserved in our system, coordinate loading dates with your forwarder and supervise yard handling operations during cutting, dressing, and container loading. Depending on the project, we can group blocks in mixed containers or prepare dedicated block shipments ex-yard or FOB from main Turkish ports.
