Moon Cream - From Block to Slab

This project presents the production path of Moon Cream Beige Marble from quarry block selection to final slab preparation. Known for its soft beige tone and fine-grained texture, Moon Cream requires controlled technical evaluation throughout production so that tonal consistency, structural soundness and surface clarity are carried through to export-ready slabs. The process begins with detailed block selection at quarry level. Each block is reviewed for background uniformity, grain structure, internal density, micro-fracture risk and overall structural integrity. Because Moon Cream relies on a calm, even surface character rather than dramatic veining, block orientation is planned to support consistent tone across the bundle, improve slab yield and preserve readability on large-format surfaces. Where mirrored layouts are specified, slab pairing and bookmatch selection are planned during orientation and cutting. During the cutting phase, slab thickness calibration to 2 cm, dimensional accuracy and cutting direction are managed carefully. Slabs are finished honed, which maintains a matte, soft-touch surface that enhances the stone's light-reflecting beige character while reducing glare in interior settings. Bundle K6080 (MRQ-MC-001) comprises 56 slabs at approximately 2900 × 1850 × 20 mm, around 5.37 m² per slab and 300.72 m² in total, with bookmatch selection available. Moon Cream Beige Marble suits interior flooring, wall cladding, wet areas, vanity surfaces, staircases and lobby zones where warmth and tonal continuity matter. Quality control follows every stage: micro-fracture screening, tonal consistency, bookmatch readiness, dimensional tolerance and export suitability. Only slabs meeting strict architectural and shipping standards proceed to final preparation.
